Women return to their pre-pregnancy weight fastest when they are:
- Younger.
- Healthy before and after pregnancy.
- Happy and unstressed.
- Not working outside the home.
- Have emotional and practical support.
- Eat right (and supplements).
- Sleep enough (hardest one for sure).
- Exercise regularly.
The extra weight is not mentally or physically healthy but losing it is mostly a result of pursuing postpartum health. Pursue health, lose weight as a by product.
