What is respect?

Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.

Just because you are human doesn’t entitle you to respect.

(Human dignity yes, respect no.)

Men get respect from women for the 3 P’s.

�Provision �Protection �Presiding

Most men are only good at one of the three. Master all three and you will stand above the rest.

Mastery is deeper than you might think. I’ll explain below.

No one can know what is in anothers heart.

A person can say anything.

But actions and demonstrated displays of competence can not be faked, especially over time.

A woman will judge her man, his skills and virtues based on the life her provides for her.

Mastering Provision

This is more than just $ and €.

Women dont care about money, they care about the lifestyle you provide. Is it:

�Fun, stimulating, exciting? �Stable, reliable & predictable?

It’s not fun for her to be stuck at home while you earn the big bucks.

It’s not stable if you are creating excitement from fear and risk.

She needs more than just money.

Are you providing her with the children, attention and love that she needs?

Does she get enough time with you?

Is a relationship with you providing her with a status boost?

Mastering Protection

The obvious here is physical protection.

Does she trust you to keep her and your babies safe?

Whats not obvious is that protection goes so much deeper.

She needs social, spiritual, emotional and mental protection. Keep the evil people away from her.

This form of protection is especially important around the time of pregnancy and birth, when she is most vulnerable.

You might find yourself protecting her from her own friends and family unintentionally stressing her.

Or even from herself.

Be ever vigilant.

Mastering Presiding

Most take this to mean “presiding over his family” but it’s much more.

You must first preside over yourself (your emotions, thoughts & actions).

Such a man will also seek to fill leadership positions in his church & community.

He is a true Patriarch.

“But what about the respect of other women?”

Why do you, an adult man, care about the opinions of women who you are not making babies with?

The more you care about them respecting you the less respect you will get.

Just be a man and dont worry about what women think.

“I dont care about being respected, I just want to be liked.”

Women dont like men they cant respect.

If she likes you, she respects you.

Focus on respect.

“But shouldn’t a wife automatically respect her husband.”

You are confusing the basic consideration we give to someone because they are a human with respect.

She should teat you with human dignity at all times, but respect is much more.

A woman shouldn’t marry a man unless she respects him.

Once that respect is gone the marriage is over unless he can rebuild it FAST.

Respect is a response to the man. If the man changes for the worse the response will also degenerate.
