Generations ago boys were trained to be men, husbands and fathers from childhood. They matured rapidly.

Then came single mothers and disengaged fathers.

Today dating a masculine man usually means dating one that is 10+ years older than you.

“I just want a mature man like my dad”

Your father was immature when he was your age.

He was immature when he married your mother.

Marriage and children matured him.
