Immaturity is the main cause of modern marital issues.

Over 35 years ago my great grandmother Justina (Grandma Loewen to me) drew my attention to the immaturity crisis.

She said that most women today never grow up. Instead they get stuck in development at about 14 years of maturity and stay there.

My grandmother was a keen observer of people and the keeper of 450 years of family wisdom and lore about marriages, child rearing and survival in the wild places of the world.

She contrasted the immature modern womens childhood to how her generation was raised to take responsibility from a young age. She concluded that unless young girls were engaged helping their mother, sisters and aunts in domestic chores, child care and home based businesses their maturity would be retarded.

The taking on and fulfilling of responsibility is the only path to maturity for both men and women.

Boys should be working at something productive from a young age, taking responsibility for themselves and leading younger boys. Unfortunately, in our cosmopolitan, disconnected from nature, degenerate, low trust society giving young people the burdens they need to become strong is very difficult.

The result is the most immature, under parented, underdeveloped, incompetent generations in history.

The good news is that it’s fixable. That’s my main job, to help adults finish growing up. In just 6 to 8 months you can go from boy to man or from girl to women.
