Being a MAN is an intermediate state of development not a final goal

Being a MAN is an intermediate state of development not a final goal.

Development stages for most men:

♂️ 0–4 years old, he is a baby who is helpless and responsible for nothing. ♂️ 4–10 years old, he is a child responsible for his basic needs (getting dressed, feeding himself, bathing). ♂️ 10–18 years old, he is a youth (puberty) responsible for managing his emotions and looking after himself (giving more to the family than he takes). ♂️ 18–30 years old, he is a man responsible for exploring the wilderness, seeking his mission, and finding his wife. ♂️ 30+ years old, he is a husband responsible for leading and taking care of himself and his wife. ♂️ Post-children, he is a father responsible for leading and taking care of his children as well. ♂️ As he ages, some men become patriarchs, responsible for leading their family and community. ♂️ After death, particularly important patriarchs ascend to mythical status as cultural legends or gods responsible for influencing generations to come.

NOTE: Some men marry their mission and produce spiritual, artistic or intellectual children. This is not to be mocked or seen as less valuable. Some of the most mythic men in history are in this group. Very few men could even produce such children.

MALES are children or youths that have physically grown up but not taken on the appropriate responsibility level for their age.

Many men get stuck somewhere along the path, becoming males and need help getting back on it to finish their development.

Where are you on the path of manhood?
