A baby boy has minimal Agency, nor do they really need it. Their mother sees to all aspect of their hierarchy of needs (or at least they should, if they are fulfilling their role as a mother adequately).

A young boy needs only to develop limited Agency, as required, to follow and learn from their parents, to navigate the world and to develop the beginnings of an identity in the social realm.

A teenage boy must develop greater Agency through which to control their identity, and vigour, as they begin to act directly upon themselves and the world around them and navigate their life.

For grown men, having Agency means possessing the ability to fill their own hierarchy of needs and to protect, provide for and lead our selves, our families and our tribes.

This means setting an example, and leading through that example, of what is necessary to be a productive and valued member of any human society.

The man of HIGH AGENCY is thus a PATRIARCH.

When men of high Agency federate together for mutual gain, their combined forces make it possible to establish their Sovereignty as common property.

Sovereign men, and only Sovereign men, may then grant certain rights and freedoms to their tribal brothers, the women within a tribe, the children within a tribe and the guests.

Lower agency men who have their freedoms granted to them by other, high agency men struggle to, in turn, grant further freedoms to themselves or others.

The same applies to guests, or even those considered slaves to a tribe. Both are beholden to the high Agency men who form, defend and maintain the commons.

Emergent properties: Agency > Sovereignty > Freedom

A lack of virtuous, just high Agency men is killing the west.

When the main body of men fail to develop the Agency sufficient to federate into a Sovereign body their commons will decay - infested with parasites and vandals until they are inevitably conquered by a group of higher Agency men who have formed a superior federation.

This is the path that condemned the ancient Roman Empire, and their final death knell came in 1453 when the capital city of Constantinople was besieged by the Ottomans - a higher-agency sovereign body of men.

To prevent being overwhelmed and defeated by out-group tribes, or subsumed by subversive in-group tribes, the men of high agency must ensure the strength of our federation by:

1. Training young men in the development of Agency.
2. Being intolerant of anything that erodes Agency in our people.
3. Strengthening the bonds of federation between our men.
4. Denying all, save our own virtuous and just high Agency men, the power to rule over our commons.

If we selfishly isolate ourselves from our tribe, or fail in our number 1 job of training younger men, we will not maintain our Sovereignty.

We call on our tribes’ high Agency men to be ready to help us as we launch the greatest Agency-building program in the modern world.
