Brine shrimp mature in 3 weeks. The speed of maturity in an organism is a counter indicator of depth and complexity. Another way to put it is that simple things develop faster.

Simple brains mature faster and finish earlier.

Men’s mental and emotional development takes more time because we develop longer, deeper, and more complex emotions, thought patterns, and mental abilities in larger and more complete brains.

Men have 10% bigger brains on average than women and a significantly higher average synaptic density of 12.9 × 108 per cubic millimeter, whereas in women it was 8.6 × 108 per cubic millimeter.

Kohlberg discovered that most women and female-brained men only get to stage #3, “Be good”; only a few more mature women get beyond it. Men usually get to stage #5 or #6*.

You can generally tell what level a person has reached by the way that they speak and what responses they want from others. The “just be nice” people are stuck on #3. The “it’s legal” people are stuck on #4 and so on.

Why do so many people believe in the myth that women are on average more moral or mature than men?

Because we as a society have been lied to by the “girl power” feminist movement that seeks to undermine the cooperation between the sexes, break the family, and isolate us, again, to control us.

The truth is that unless a woman has been happily married to a mature man and has 3+ children, she is probably no more mature at 34 than she was at 14. Even then, experience is no guarantee of maturity.

Wisdom comes with experience, but sometimes experience comes alone.

*Note this only applies to white western people. Most other cultures seem to have a majority stuck on level #1. Our unique history and institutions have trained us as a people in the mindfulness and moral intuition required to move up the moral development ladder.

Higher morality had become second nature to most of us in the west. Much of the last 100 years of war on the West has been an attempt to destroy our history and institutions so as to morally corrupt us and move us down the ladder where we are more easily manipulated and controlled.

The good news is that we can all, men and women, train our moral intuitions and even better, learn how to measure all things so as to know what is right and what is wrong.
