1. To enjoy the company of someone of the opposite sex. Dating is supposed to be enjoyable.

2. Allow unqualified potentional partners to out themselves through their actions.

How do you make a first date enjoyable?

Men: Plan it (simple, fun, short) Lead & protect her

Woman: Be beautiful Be pleasant

Both: Be on time Dress appropriately Ask friendly questions Be observant/give attention Touch each other playfully No interrogations

Things to not do on a first date:

Excessive emotional or sexual intimacy Uncomfortable questions/interrogations Bring a check list Embarrass each other Talk for hours (too much too soon) Ignore each other (no phone gazing)

People lie<

They lie to impress someone they want to have a relationship with, because of embarrassment, because they have manipulated themselves into believing a lie, etc

Stop asking your date questions and get better at observing their actions

Asking questions is lazy behaviour

Careful observation is more challenging but it works

Does she behave like a wife and mother? Is he leading me on the date? Was she appreciative when I paid? Did he pay?

Listen to what people DO not what they SAY

What message is your date sending you by their ACTIONS?
