When asked why I would not cheat on my wife the first answer that comes to my mind is “that is not honourable behaviour”.

Living an honourable life keeps a man steady through changing seasons and social mores.

People say “that is not romantic”, I reply “you are right, it is not romantic. Romance is fickle, honour is steadfast. Basing my fidelity in marriage on what does not change with moods, emotions and the flux of relationships is why I am married for almost 20 years.”
