What Can Women Do To Fight the War on Immaturity?

What Can Women Do To Fight the War on Immaturity?

Female maturity looks different than male maturity, just as mothering looks different than fathering.

The mature feminine virtues are:

Receptivity: the ability to receive and hold value

Transmutation: the ability to transform received value into something even more valuable.

They are described in more detail here.

These are also the archetypal virtues of a mother. Even if you are not or never will be a mother, these are the virtues that will come with your maturity as a woman.

Virtue of all sorts is developed through a cycle of introspection and action.

A woman becomes mature by thinking and acting like a mature woman.

Spending time with mature women and learning from them will teach you how to do that.

If you have a mature, masculine husband or father, his advice will also be an invaluable resource for developing your virtue.

If you have access to none of these things, then hire a coach to get you started.

In turn, once you are a mature woman, you have the privilege of helping other women develop their feminine virtues.

How do I identify a mature woman who could mentor me?

Look for a woman who already has the lifestyle you want and is displaying the feminine virtues mentioned earlier.

A woman’s power is different from a man’s. It is more subtle—a pull rather than a push, soft, not hard. Look for women who have mastered that skill and are using it to build up themselves, their husbands, and their families.

Learn from them and become mature and wise.
