We used to enjoy small, homogeneous, tight nit, high trust communities.
Children had dozens of older people to look up to.
They were encouraged to get to know their neighbours.
Since the 1970s we have lost our high trust communities.

The result is generations of socially inept, overly sensitive and disconnected people.
