Manipulation can be used to keep people operating in a slave frame, stuck and emotionally unable to escape because they erroneously feel that if they stay they have (freedom) choices that matter.

Example: Democracy presents the frame of a system that represents the people and gives them a voice in governance.

Trump vs. DeSantis looks like a choice. That’s an illusion for a number of reasons, but consider just this one:

If all the GOP candidates were deep state stooges, they would do exactly what they are doing right now.

If any candidate were to pose a serious threat to the establishment, they would be killed along with their backers.

But this fake choice does keep people focused on politics as the one and only solution to their problems. “Maybe we can vote our way out.”

Politics cannot be the answer to the West’s problems. Our failures are fundamentally spiritual and cultural.

Only by choosing to become resistant to the preferred weapon of our enemies, manipulation, can we solve our problems.
