This is my idea as well, but in a rural setting.

After we buy a small farm I would put up 10 tiny cabins and have a bunch of digital nomads come live there. Communal eating, games room, office area included. They can play at helping on the farm from time to time.

Depends on who you allow to rent. Rent to the right people and they are great.

For example: Digital nomads are usually young men and women working online, earning good money and desperate for a structured community. Basically they are paying to be in a family (Im the Dad).
