The middle class is NOT better off with women working away from home.

Previous to entering mens workspaces, women were providing valuable services at home. They also had many profitable home (craft) enterprises such as knitting, weaving, sewing, running micro dairies, etc.

Transferring their labor away from home didn’t increase total output, it simply shifted the focus away from the most profitable enterprise in human history, raising smart, high Agency children and dumped it into creating more HR nags and typing pool girls.

Men, women and especially children got a terrible deal when women entered the workforce.
