Single women are stuck in a catch 22 situation.

On one hand they have bills to pay and financial desperation increases the risk of making terrible husband picking decisions.

On the other hand independence masculinizes them.

Fatherless women are especially hard hit by this.

I don’t envy these women at all. They have it hard.

For some time I have had the vision of creating a system of gender segregated boarding houses where under fathered young, single men and women could live cheaply, under mature supervision, as they finished their development.

A sort of finishing school for adults.

Stay for two years, live with 20 other young people of your sex, eat healthy food, get in good shape, get free mentoring, learn skills, start a business, in the second year we set you up on dates with other graduates of the program.

Done at scale it would change the culture.

We used to have religious institutions for this purpose, then we had secular boarding houses, fraternities and sororities, but that was all usurped by the state.
