Past me has always loved future me

Past me has always loved future me.

But present me has not always loved past me.

Only when I learned to love past me, with all my flaws and mistakes, was I able to become the father that I am today.

Father to myself, father to my sons, father to the past and to the future.

Once you understand this, many new things will open up for you.

(Hint: If you don’t understand now, read it five times and then put it in the back of your mind. When you need to understand it, you will recall what I said, and it will make sense.)
