Mother is key from 0 to 7. Teaches the base skills of attachment, provides soft physical touch, comforting, stimulates development (physical and mental)

Father is key from 7 onward. Brings order to the mind and body. Provides stability, security, boundaries, teaches Agency

Lack of mother leads to poor attachment, inability to self sooth, often leads to hyper sensitivity to stimulus (in my experience with clients)

Lack of father leads to a disordered mind, inner chaos, helplessness, then one of two disordered paths (see images)
