It works until it doesn’t and then nothing works.

Because manipulation produces “win-lose” and even “lose-lose” results leaving a legacy of distrust, destroying reputations.

A sustainable business needs loyalty from leadership, employees, suppliers and customers.

Manipulation can gin up rapid support but it’s built on a bubble that is easily popped.

Once the lies have been discovered former supporters, now angered by having been used seek revenge.
