I’m eating an apple when my son Alex walks into the room
I’m eating an apple when my son Alex walks into the room. He looks at me and says, “You can’t eat that.” I ask him why. He says, “That’s an apple. It’s mine. Apples are for the boys.”
Normally, I tell my wife to buy more apples for the boys, my sons eat about three, maybe four apples a day each. So in his mind, apples are only for him and his brothers. He was genuinely disturbed that I had broken the rules and eaten one of their apples.
