Girls are silly. They do and say silly things. It can be endearing, unless you have something you need from them.

Women (the mature form of girls) sometimes act like girls. Yes, sometimes women are also silly. The difference is that they can be serious when needed. That makes their girlishness endearing without the annoying drawbacks.

You can marry a girl if you like (this is not about age but about maturity). She can be silly; you might find it fun. But you are in for a lot of work helping her to grow up. And if you are not a mature man yet, that process is going to challenge you to your limits. You have to be a grown-up to help another person reach maturity.

What you don’t want to do is raise children with a girl. Especially one that stubbornly refuses to grow up. She can’t mother children properly if she’s not going to grow up herself. You won’t be able to trust her to make good decisions with the kids. It’s a nightmare; I’ve seen it happen.

My advice is to be a mature man before you marry and then marry a woman who is either already mature or at least well on her way from girl to woman.
