Every single one of us is descended almost exclusively from women who would be called “tom boys” by today’s standards. All that means is “useful.”.

Strong, smart, and useful women produce better sons. Back when we were a proper culture, we understood the value of careful breeding.

Only strong, smart, and useful women give birth to real men.

Our female ancestors were tough and hardworking; they grew food in the family garden, raised and slaughtered the small animals, preserved meat, ran the dairy, carded wool and flax, spun it into thread, and made clothes; they cooked, cleaned, bought, and sold goods to boost the family finances, all while birthing and raising 4 to 16 kids.

The image is of my great-great grandmother and my great-grandmother. She is harder than most of the men complaining about tomboys; she is a true pioneer woman.

She married my great-great grandfather (64) when she was 34 and had four children with him. Her sons grew up to be skilled builders, lumberjacks, and feared hand-to-hand combatants who served as MPs in World War 1.

Even our European aristocracy was composed of the wives and daughters of warlords who would run their husbands manor while he was away at war. She needed to have high agency to act as the chief executive in her husband’s place. We Europeans have always valued capable women over merely attractive women.

Only in our brothels, or the harems of the Middle East and Asia, were useless women valued as sex slaves and breeding stock. Not something to brag about.
