An alternative launch pad for young men

An alternative launch pad for young men.

Every week I get closer to implementing my plan to create an innovative launch pad for young men. Let me explain the basics of the concept for you.

Simple monk mode communal living. Simple and healthy food. Group activities that build trust. Mandatory participation in fitness and fighting. Included are coaching and training in life skills. Clean, inspiring, beautiful common spaces. Efficient and enjoyable work stations. Podcasting space. Gym, pool room, cigar lounge, pool, sauna, cold tank, and other fun stuff. Build your own business or career with peers. Stay up to 2 years. Remain part of the brotherhood after you leave. Keep it as low-cost as possible.

I see this as an alternative to university or as an after-university launch pad for young men who don’t fit into the corporate drone world.

Once I build one, I will be looking to replicate it in other places. Make it a network so that men can visit other cities and have guys know who have been through the same experience.

After we have a few running, I would consider building the same thing for young ladies. A kind of finishing school network.

All that’s missing right now is funding. I’m nearly finished saving for the first one. I need about 6 more months before I can buy the first property. Then I need the funds to build the first barracks.

I do need to give some consideration to building a bunkhouse or individual rooms.

I prefer the wooden look.

Additionally, I would attempt to have the graduates find a place to live close to the barracks so that they would not lose touch with the core group and could gather regularly for seasonal festivals.

One day it would be not just the men but their entire families that joined.
