We all have our own personal, familial, tribal, racial, and sex biases, preferences, and conflict resolution strategies.

The most challenging conflict is when you have to deal with people who have incompatible ways. Either one adapts to the other person’s (or group’s) methods or you go to war.

Because war is the only common language for conflict resolution. The only language we can all speak.

At the personal level, this even applies to marriage. We don’t need to agree with our spouse on everything, but we do need to agree to resolve conflicts in compatible ways.

The alternative is going to war (divorce).
