There’s a saying in my family: Never underestimate the power of stupidity. A small amount can undo generations of hard work.
In the West, we used to punish stupidity with lethal aggression. Now we subsidize it, with welfare, with feel-good programs, with endless second chances.
We breed the stupid. We reward the stupid. We hand them the reins and act surprised when everything crashes. But systems can only carry that weight for so long.
And when collapse comes, nature will assert herself again. And stupid will be wiped out.
