Sovereignty is the highest status.
The ability to create exclusive spaces has always been the number 1 status symbol.
Walled cities, country clubs, private neighbourhoods, gangs signs, fences, borders. If you can keep the undesirables out of your space then you are higher status.
Money can be used to create exclusivity, but it’s not nearly enough. You also need other barriers to filter in and keep out the people you want in your community, church, business, family, etc.
Get creative and don’t worry about what the law says. Find a way around the rules.
