Some people create better cultures than others.

One of the reasons that Europeans and our diaspora surpassed all other peoples in every measure of human development is because, very early on, we began to treat our women and children with love.

Our patriarchy is not like theirs.

Before the great rise of that city-state, the free Greek men of Athens passed laws to ensure the protection of women and children.

The patriarchy still existed, but it focused on protecting and investing in all its members, including women and children. This contrasts with most cultures practices of seeing all others as animals to consume.

The result is that women were happier and felt more secure, making them better wives and mothers. These untramatized women were able to end the ancient and horrid abuse cycle where mothers would take out their frustrations on sons, who would grow up to hate women and in turn treat them such that they would abuse the next generation.

It is no wonder that Athens flourished and gave us science, philosophy, art, and literature, far surpassing all others up to that time.

The ancient German tribes that dominated northern and central Europe also passed laws and had customs protecting women and children from abuse from the earliest of times.
