Men are constantly engaged in competition for money, status, etc
Men are constantly engaged in competition for money, status, etc. It makes us better men if we compete honourably.
Part of the reason competition makes men better is that it helps us to calculate the value we deliver. This gives us signals that tell us where we need to improve.
Competition is mostly negative for women. It hardens and masculinises them. It even messes up their hormone profiles and reduces fertility.
Paradoxically women can still benefit from competition signals but in a different way.
