Many people love problems that are huge, vague, abstract, unmeasurable, and beyond their ability to solve, so they can complain but are never expected to help solve them.

This happens on the right and the left.

If you can’t clearly identify the problem and have no solutions, your complaining is not helping, and you should not be taken seriously on big issues.

I have more respect for a person who picks up trash in his neighbourhood than for a person who glues his hands to the ground, protesting climate change. The first one is a problem solver, and the second is a whiner.
