Males who are easily distracted by women, social events, booze, etc. are not alpha. They are just big children. No discipline or maturity.

Alpha is a social designation for leaders in a male hierarchy. You are not an alpha if you are not a recognized leader in your social hierarchy. Being an alpha has zero to do with women.
