“If I don’t 100% agree with everything someone else thinks and does I don’t want them in government or having any power.” Is the most self defeating and idiotic thing I have ever heard from the “right”.

And I hear it quite often, mostly from losers who are only political “influencers” and have never accomplished anything in real life.

They will never get any power and they will never accept anyone who isn’t them gaining power. It’s impossible to make them happy so no one will ever try.

Most of the founding fathers had at least one stupid opinion. Every great man in history has had his flaws and bad ideas and yet, they still did their job.

Take the good, punish the bad, make it work.
