I believe that in the near future, everything in your digital life will be experienced through your own personal AI.
You won’t be searching Google. You’ll ask your AI. You won’t see ads. You’ll tell your AI what you’re looking for, and it’ll bring you the best options, filtered through your values, your preferences, your standards, your budget.
Dating apps and social media? Gone. Instead, your AI will help you connect directly with others, spontaneous friend group connections, no algorithms, no censorship, no curated digital zoo owned by some megacorp. Just my AI reaching out to your AI and negotiating if we are a close enough match to bother us humans with a suggestion to meet up.
Your personal AI will move with you, learn with you, evolve with you. Over time, it’ll become one of your most valuable assets.
If you’re smart, and at least mildly tech savvy, you’ll run your own. You’ll own the AI, control the data, and build something truly private and personal.
But most people? They’ll just rent access to some company’s “AI-as-a-service.” It’ll be convenient, but not secure. Comfortable, but not sovereign.
