Feeling emotions is not a virtue

Feeling emotions is not a virtue.

Virtue requires ACTION.

A feeling of love or affection for someone does them no good unless it moves us to ACT (rationally).

Even then, much harm has be done by people who genuinely believed they were helping people they felt affection for.

To be virtuous you must not rely on any fickle emotional motivators in your decision making process.

➡️ Act on reason.

➡️ Do what is OBJECTIVELY good.

➡️ Do it because it is the right thing to do.

Engage your emotions as fuel to give you added energy in doing what is right.
