“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” - Galatians 6:7

Mocking God by claiming that its HIS fault that you dont have what you need, because HE is making you wait is foolish.

You reap what you sow.

You get what you deserve.

“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” - 2 Corinthians 9:6

Lazy, stingy, fearful people sow sparingly, not trusting in God to reap a reward for their hard work.

You reap what you sow.

“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” - Luke 6:38

Stop being a cheap stingy miser.

Give (to the right people) & reap bountifully.

“Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy!” - Psalm 126:5

It’s not always going to be easy.

Finding a marriage mate may require you to go through painful inner work, extend trust to strangers, put yourself in uncomfortable situations, etc.

Work through the pain.

“And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you.” - Mark 4:24

It’s talking about investing into your goals (especially spiritual ones).

Put in a small effort, get a small reward.

“The backslider in heart will be filled with the fruit of his ways, and a good man will be filled with the fruit of his ways.” - Proverbs 14:14

Stop backsliding to your unhealthy habits.

Make a plan, stick with it for at least 3 months, adjust as needed, get back to it.

“And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” - James 3:18

If you want peace in your relationships, marriage with your children etc YOU have to make it happen.

You get the peace you create.

“He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything. (continued)

“In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.” Ecclesiastes 11:4-6

Never stop working, you dont know which effort will pay off. We simply cant know, so do more.

“For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.” - Galatians 6:3

Thinking more of ourselves that we are deceives us into complacency.

No, you are not awesome enough that all your hope and dreams will work out while you do nothing.

“Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it.” - Proverbs 11:27

You need to diligently seek good if you want it.

Good is not going to carry the lazy, the insecure or the fearful.

Want a good marriage? Diligently seek it.

“The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” - Jesus at 2 Thessalonians 3:10

Jesus clearly says that we do not deserve rewards until we do the work.

Stop waiting on God to look after your necessities, he made you to put EFFORT into your life so DO THE WORK!

Its not Gods job to live your life for you.

Or to solve all your problems.

He expects us to work for our own necessities, including things like marriage and good health.

DO The work and reap what you sow.

(To reap something different, try sowing something different)
