A person can be dumb as a box of rocks and only speak in tired platitudes, yet if they are well rehearsed, charismatic, and appeal to people’s biases, normies will feel like they are brilliant thinkers.

On the other hand, normies struggle to even understand true brilliant thinkers because they challenge their biases, making them uncomfortable, and therefore they judge them as fools.

Here’s an example of a false promise from a pseudo intellectual to help you identify them in the future.

“Everyone can be rich.” No, this is not true. He is lying to appeal to the egos of his low-IQ audience and any higher-IQ people who may be biased towards equality.

He proposes a “thought exercise” that is neither thinking nor an exercise. I don’t think he even knows what the word means, but he heard a smart person say it once.

His next statement is a great example of how fakes use magical thinking to trick stupid people. He’s building an argument with a magic wand.

Imagine going to a business meeting and proposing to investors, and your first business step is to “wave a magic wand.” You would be laughed out of the room.

“Everyone trained as a scientist or engineer.” It’s a laughable scenario on its own, but add in the fact that that’s what he thinks will make everyone rich. This is a child’s level of “thinking.”.

“Even if you weren’t very good.” Ok, you can drive on the bridge and live in the apartment designed by a not-very-good engineer. Me? I think we should have higher standards.

Then he tries to shame the audience for being incredulous of his fantastical, magical claims by saying you are a “soft expectations bigot.”. Fraudsters often resort to manipulation to strong arm you into believing their silly ideas.

Education is his “magic wand.” Just “educate” people, and they will be able to do “hard sciences.” Obviously, that’s wrong. About 80% of the population is not smart enough to even understand the hard sciences, let alone work with them.

So what’s the result of these types of pseudointellectuals lying to the public? It creates false expectations and resentment. It also leads to bad investments.

False expectations: These tricksters easily fool people who fall below the IQ cutoff to be useful in any modern economy into thinking that they too should be rich and that the solution is as simple as waving a magic wand.

Resentment: When you lie to create unattainable, high expectations in low-functioning people, they become resentful. “I’m only poor because I’m being oppressed.” Indeed, their genetic makeup oppresses them.

Bad investments: When pseudo intellectuals lie to people and governments, it leads to over investment in stupid things, such as educating and even hiring low-functioning people to do jobs they cannot possibly do.

We must hold these public liars accountable for their lies and the harm they cause to others.
