Camping in a remote area of Ontario

Camping in a remote area of Ontario. Go to pee in the woods. Moonless, starless, overcast night. Can’t see a thing. Forgot flashlight. Oh well, I have an excellent memory and I was in that area 2 hours earlier. Use campfire for orientation. l.. Walk 50 feet from the campsite in the dark, unzip, pee, feel splash back, stop. Feel in front of me. Cold, wet animal nose about 6 inches from my groin. Call my dad to bring the flashlight. He shines it in my direction. Herd of deer were sleeping in the woods and I was pissing on one of them, right in the face. Deer blinks, looks stunned but doesn’t go anywhere. I back off a few feet, pee fast, back my way to the tent as my dad keeps everything lit up. Leave the deer in the dark. TLDR: I gave a deer a golden shower.

I now carry at least 2 flashlights at any time.
