At 15 years old I was almost charged for breaking a guys ribs & beating several others with a bat

They were 19 to 21, 5 of them, all on probation. Before I hit them they had surrounded my 12 years old brother & were beating him up

I cleared them off while my bro broke ones arm

The officer who interviewed us was told to charge me

After the interview they realised that they couldn’t have won the case, we were two children defending ourselves against criminal adults, how would that play in court?
